Are humans inherently good?
This question has been debated by philosophers for centuries. There is no agreed upon answer. But, a recent study does answer a related question – Can ethics be taught?
This study done at Notre Dame, MIT and London School of economics, confirms the positive impact of ethics training.

The first time I encountered Ethics training was when I enrolled in the CFA program 38 years ago.
At first, I was puzzled because it had not occurred to me that ethics can or need to be taught. But as I delved into the course, I understood the importance of making Ethics training concrete with processes, rules and examples.
Kudos to the CFA Institute, for not just teaching us how to invest, but also how to do so with integrity and responsibility.
